Why Dont We See More Webmasters Grouping Together?

When it comes to sending traffic to affiliate programs?

Several years ago there were a couple of groups of heavy hitters who would pool their traffic and use the same affiliate codes across all of their websites to generate sales to the sponsors they were using, at the end of the month when they got paid, the money was split between them all after hosting bills, content purchases, traffic buys etc were paid for.

Why do we not see adult webmasters doing this these days, is it a trust issue do you think?

It's an "every man for himself" attitude these days, particular among small and medium sized adult companies.

The heavy hitters make all kinds of mega deals like the one you pointed out, but it's such a small portion of their activities, it doesn't matter much.

There was a period when sites were actively trading banners, signing up for each other's affiliate programs and such, but that's long gone. I've only had one or two requests to exchange links in the past year. If anyone contacts me personally it's always to send traffic to them with no reciprocation.

Darlin, no one is even posting to the blog on any kind of regular basis. Last date I'm seeing is back in Dec of last year?

Too many are trying to screw down the other guy for them to gain something. Everyone is out to get everyone. Every man is on his own. The production aspect of the industry is the same but worse. This industry in whole is very cut throat.
I personally have went above and beyond for a couple webmasters over the past couple of months, and they turned out to be shady.
You just cannot trust anyone. Period.

I'm not going into a lot of detail, but I have also caught a VOD company skimming studio stats.
They're paysite affiliate program does the same.

This is why you can't trust anyone and so many are fending for themselves.

I didn't notice that the woman who is tasked with managing our blogs was not keeping up on that one, and I've hit her up about it (she's remote so I can't go see her face to face).

I am not a scammer and don't think it is fair to call me one because of a mistake made by another person in the company. I did mention to you that I did not personally manage the blogs, and I did reply to the e-mail you sent me notifying me of the problem.

You may also want to mention how Topbucks skims stats as well as Yappo. This has been proven. Ask Don, he knows what I'm talking about.
