What did Extreme Associates produce?

XBIZ had an article this morning about a guilty plea in the case of Extreme Associates and their line of "obscene" straight videos.

One quote from the article got my attention:

U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan said, "the materials produced by Extreme Associates were so far across the line between pornography and obscenity, we believe any jurisdiction across the country would have found the materials obscene."

This has me wondering -- what did they produce that was so extreme that it update the US Attorney so badly?

From what i recall (and i could be wrong) it was actually pretty disturbing sado-masochistic bondage/domination content including watersports, double fisting, bukakke, gagging, puking, etc, etc, etc...

Stuff that i am certain they considered 'art' for the cause of pushing the boundaries of the adult industry as a whole.

US Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan has been characterized as the most anti-porn US Attorney and the greatest threat to the 1st Amendment. She was the one who filed obscenity charges against a woman who only WROTE STORIES about sexual abuse of children -- on a members-only site that was primarily for victims of sexual abuse to share their stories with other victims. There were no images on the website, and if I recall correctly, fewer than 50 members. The poor woman was not a pornographer at all -- more like operator of a child sexual abuse victim online AA meeting and she was charged with federal felonies. That was a true travesty of justice and abuse of power by a prosecutor. In my opinion, one of Obama's greatest mistakes so far is not getting all of the fundamentalist US Attorneys resignations -- with Buchanan at the top of the list.

I remember talking to one of our marketing guys about that case...the lady in question was in her sixties or seventies and the paysite deal was to cover the costs of the site and to keep kids off of it in the first place but they nailed her for 'making a profit' off of it. :bullcrap: :bullcrap: :bullcrap:
