Blogs Organizer Question...

Okay when a new post is pulled from an RSS feed, rather than displaying the entire post on the first page, is there a way to just display say the first paragraph of that post and only display it in its entirity on the actual blog post page itself?

Does that even make sense? LOL

I don't know if blogs organizer has the "more" feature that is part of Wordpress, which is what you're wanting. You'd have to have the feed come in as a draft though, so you could manually add the break, regardless of if it has the more option or not. I'm pretty sure there's no way to automatically do a snippet display on a feed.

I don't think Blogs Organizer has a way to do abridged posts on the main feed.

you may want to setup a WP blog and use its "more" feature, but still manage it as a remote blog in BO. I have a few WP remote blogs setup and it works very well.

yeah it can run almost any remote blog (WP, thumblogger, etc) as well as the ones you create within the BO system...it rocks :cheerleader: :cheerleader: :cheerleader:
