Free Hosted WMV and FLV - Am I Missing Something?

I'm considering offering FHGs, Video FHG and FH FLVs for my new affiliate program. Am i way over my head when it comes to what i'm going to pay for hosting? I mean once the FLVs get on the tube sites and the WMVs get on the TGPs, will i get totally screwed?

I don't have a huge budget for hosting...maybe around $100-150/month for all the free-hosted content.

Should I offer FLVs but leave the hosting to the affiliate/tube site/tgp?

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

You can do the compromise:

Offer longer clips in FLV format that they would have to host themselves, and for your smaller affiliates offer shorter embeddable flash clips.

That's the Taoist approach to the great conundrum of flash videos...

Personally i wouldnt offer movie files that are hosted, chances are that more likely than not they will end up on affiliates tube sites, with many more links than just your site.
