Having invested time and money on exhaustive keyword research to identify the important keyword phrases to use for your own SEO and PPC efforts, why on earth would you make a list of your high value keywords public?

welcome to the forum, interesting first post although I disagree with it as traditional SEO methods like meta tags are important for not only google but also other search engines, and getting listed tops on other search engines can generate a lot more traffic than a 3rd or 4th page listing on google

There is plenty of seo software that will list exactly how many keywords there are on a page, so not using the meta will really not do anything for you.

you have to build your empire, site by site, and eventually you will get good traffic flowing. Try starting with any of these:
- blogs
- freesites
- tgp galleries
- hubs
- linklists
- tubes
etc...

Good keywords are not exactly a trade secret these days. One only has to spend a little time with something like Google adwords or Google webmaster to gain good keywords.

And for any webmaster who's been around a while - good keywords are easily thought up as well.

I wouldn't recommend trashing meta tags.

i agree, metatags may be disregarded but also the contrary is true.
think it will be a balance in the end

same as no follow and do follow, you find as much articles in favor and against it, i think the principle apllies here as well.
