Porn Isnt Just For Men - 66% Of Women Watch Porn

SOFT or hardcore, filthy or fun – pornography is on TV and computer screens or tucked under beds in households all over Britain.
But as Home Secretary Jacqui Smith’s husband Richard Timney found out, talking about watching porn can be more embarrassing than using it — until now.

A revealing Sun survey has taken away the taboos and discovered that 66 PER CENT of WOMEN watch porn.

Mind you, true to form, nearly nine out of ten men — 88 per cent — view it, while a quarter of them watch it EVERY DAY.

More than 1,000 readers completed our risqué questionnaire.

And the exciting peek into the UK’s passion for porn will make your eyes pop out.

It revealed that 16 per cent of men often use porn as part of foreplay.

And it found that 77 PER CENT of men admitted their love of blue movies to their partners.

A third of all male and female porn watchers are aged between 18 and 25, while 28 per cent of male fans and 22 per cent of females are in the 26 to 35 age bracket.

Nearly a third of women (29 per cent) indulging are aged 36 to 45, compared with 21 per cent for men.

Only 18 per cent of men and 16 per cent of women who like blue movies are aged over 45.

Of all the 18 to 25-year-old men, a whopping 93 per cent admitted using porn.

And, perhaps surprisingly, 76 per cent of men and 87 per cent of women who look at porn are married or in a relationship.

Only 22 per cent of men — and ten per cent of women — who indulge are single.

Only one per cent of male porn fans are divorced (two per cent for women). A further one per cent of both sexes are separated from their partners.

Of those married or in a relationship, 64 per cent of men watch X-rated films with their partner, while 57 per cent of women share viewing.

Forty-six per cent of men said they would be TURNED ON if they caught their girlfriend or wife secretly watching porn — and only 11 per cent would be upset by her having all the fun without them.

Forty-three per cent would not be bothered either way if they caught their girlfriend looking at explicit images.

However, women obviously feel differently about watching adult films in a relationship, as 34 per cent say they would be very upset if they caught their partner watching porn.

The same number would not feel turned on or get angry if they found their bloke enjoying dirty pictures.

But more than a quarter (26 per cent) would get aroused.

For those in a relationship, 77 per cent of men claimed their partner was fully aware of what they were up to.

Sixty-five per cent of women say their partner watches porn without them, while 14 per cent reckoned that their husbands or boyfriends definitely did not look at images of sexy women.

A sneaky 15 per cent of men admitted hiding their blue movies from their partner.

Only six per cent of women admit to watching porn once a day but more than a quarter (26 per cent) say they watch it once a month.

Nearly half of all men questioned — 46 per cent — look at porn once or twice a week but 53 per cent of women say they rarely watch it.

Fourteen per cent of blokes say they only watch porn once a month while 15 per cent claim they look at it very rarely.

Couples also admitted using sexy films to spice up things in the bedroom.

Out of the 57 per cent of women who watch porn with a partner, a third regularly use it as part of foreplay, while 41 per cent admit to having watched it several times with their man.

And of the 64 per cent of men who share viewing, 37 per cent admit having watched it once or twice while 47 per cent have used it several times as a couple.

There are actually some interesting figures in this news peice although i must admit, im not putting to much weight on them because for one, its The Sun and two, it was anonymous and we all know even on anon polls people lie.

it's bullshit. almost every woman i know who watches porn does it with her partner because he wants to watch it with her - these women often complain to their friends afterwards that it's gross or a turnoff. but i guess one could still claim these women watch porn, however much they'd rather not.
