    WTF? Zack O'Reilly

My name is Zack O'Reilly, and I'm sure many may know me as some other off-the-wall name ) However, I went back to using my real name. I'm a professional adult film star aka pornstar. I've been performing under various stage names for the past 4 years. I've appeared in 300+ scenes, and am always interested in more work. I do NOT have time to deal with "directors/producers" that would like to offer commission-based pay rates, or would like to use me for a "trial-run". I have been in the industry for 4 years as stated, and remain very professional with my work. I do my job, and in return, I am paid for it. I'm using this forum as another means of networking with future directors/producers in whom wish to use me for scenes. If interested in booking me for a scene, please contact me via email: zack@zackoreillyxxx.com Thanks!

Too over-exposed and with that demeanor, I wouldn't use him.

I have no foul demeanor, just remaining on a professional level :o) Sorry if you were offended, but definitely not my intention.

Unless a model is a contract player for a studio brand, once they've been in more than a couple of movies, the customers are WAAAAAY over it!

I made a movie 3 years ago with famous, over exposed stars Brad Slater & Jason Forest. Great scenes, awesome work! I'm not sure that as of today, I've made my money back.

A month later, I made a movie with 2 unknowns, same O&A scenes, made my money back in 2 months.

Well, I seem to be doing alright for myself, but that is some great insight. Duly noted, you do have a point, but it also depends on the performances put forth. I try to stay out of the spotlight considering I do straight porn for the majority, and we all know, guys are just props when it comes to b/g scenes. The less spotlight, the more demand. Believe me, I myself get tired of seeing the same guys in flicks where they are well known. The more attention you bring to yourself, the faster you die out.3

Haha, well, you won't find me in any gay scenes. So, I guess I can't be overworked, yet hehe. And thanks for all the warm welcomes. And to answer your question, yes! I plan on becoming very active with the forums this coming week once I get things settled after flying back to LA. I'll post on different topics, including first hand experiences, and if you'd like to know something that I might know about, I'd love to help out. Hopefully, I can see the same kind of treatment in return.

I for one am glad to see a performer on the boards! It might be nice to get some insight into the industry from THEIR point of view as well. At least for me, I appreciate opinions from as many facets of "the business" as I can find!
Welcome to the board Zack and I hope you'll play an active role in our discussions here!

Ya know, you just hit a really hot spot for me there. One thing that has always seemed to work great for me with fans and friends has been that I actually talk to them LOL. Some may get tired of seeing me, but others can relate to me. I get tons of myspace emails, and I eventually answer every one of them as long as they're not crazy or illegal. If they can relate to you like any other person, than they can work up that visualization that it's them with you or the other person. People always seem to remember these types of films in my opinion. Haha, okay there's topic 101

That's one of the reasons we have such a strong following and such incredible member retention! Unlike the other "cam sites", the members get to know the boys at Collegeboyslive. They can read all about their lives leading up to their time at CBL, they get daily updates of what the boys have going on that are posted on the member main page, they can watch or read the boy's weekly diaries in video or written format, and of course they can chat LIVE with the guys seven nights a week! During each of the boy's six month contracts, the members really get to know the guys and really like or HATE them!
I know for me personally, I get off MORE watching the stars I've met and felt a "connection" with than I do with some random performer! Just my two cents!

Sorry about the delay, and thanks again for the posts and warm welcomes...Computer crashed grrr

As for me, personally, I am not a big fan of contracts. They are great for some people, but cause a lot of problems when you are already established, and have a recurring group of directors that you work for. To some, I'm sure it feels like you're blowing them off "no pun intended " to go shoot for another director. I like working, and leaving the drama at home. Most of the directors I have came across have really taken care of me, and do their best to book me frequently. I couldn't just take what they've given me for granted, and go with only one company. I see other flaws with contracts, but I'm not going to be the one to badmouth them. I am only saying that contracts would never agree with me, but they might be the best thing in the world for the next guy.

Welcome to the board Zack. I was also put off a little bit by your first post. Some of the lines your wrote made you sound like you might be a pain to work with. I think when you're first introducing yourself to a prospective employer (in any job, not just porn) you should not say negative things or dwell on what you can't or won't do. Highlight the positive things that you will do and that makes a better impression. Wait until the employer brings up the things you might not want to do and then you can politely decline.

But like others said, I'm glad you're here and look forward to your participation.

I wanted to give you a few suggestions on your MySpace page: it's currently set to "private"... bad idea if you're trying to market yourself. You also have your age listed as 85... another bad idea. Actually, since you have a domain name already you should just pay the $10 a month for your own website. Sign up as an affiliate with some sponsors and you'll probably make enough to pay for the site.

I appreciate the post,as I do all! I was not dwelling on the negative, yet cutting to a professional point. I am new to the forums, and was not at all sure how they worked. Instead of copying what someone else put, I'd rather just be original, and start my thread and let everyone kick in their two cents and "go with the flow", if ya follow me

I do have a domain, and the website, but I decided to have it forwarded to my myspace for the time being. I have tons of content shot, however, quite a bit is raw footage and doesn't meet my standards. If I'm going to charge for a site, I'd like it to be the best that I can possibly have it made before I actually publish it. I see too many models putting up a site with a few scenes, and subscribers get bored too easily. They may be 10 really hot scenes to some people, but may not be what others are looking for. When I come across a site that I don't like, I don't ever check back to see if it's been updated. That's just me, though. I'd rather put up quality content, that I know we have done our best on, before it goes online.

As far as my myspace being private though, it shouldn't be. I just logged out of myspace to check it, and was easily able to see everything, but the photos I have marked as private. The age 85 is what several people are doing now to avoid being picked up by "spammers". I get 50 or so requests per day by fake profiles, and once I changed it to 85, they stopped. The average "scanning age" is somewhere in the 20's, so I'd just rather avoid fake profiles in general.

Love the input, though, and thanks for the welcome! These forum things aren't a bad idea..
