You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?
I Mean Really What Is The Point?
http://gayrimmingass.blogspot.com
Not a single affiliate link on that blog and its got quite a few #1 Google listings.
Why do idiot blog owners not bother monetizing blogs with decent search engine rankings, dont they realize that they could be making a lot of money from their sites?
Regards,
Lee

i think that a lot of the blogs hosted by free services like blogspot etc are run by regulare joes who just loves the porno for the porno and post because they want to share some hot guy or action scene etc with the rest of the world..
they dont know or care about copyrights, nor do they understand the whole "making money from a blog" kind of thing and live happy without knowing that they could be doing a bit of money on the site..

virgin by request ;)
welcome to the world of blogger, loaded with amateur porn collectors who illegally post copyrighted pics all the time....and soon these amateurs learn about rapidshare so they can illegally post their copied videos too.

I am not gay but I have slept with some guys who are
Hmm. I've seen that site, too. I thought that any blog on Google's Blogger had to just take whatever ads Google decided to put on the blog. Guess that isn't the case!
Do you think someone just starting in this business (ha, like me), would be best off just starting with blogs on blogger as opposed to having my own hosting account and making my own blogs (as I am doing at the moment, through Wordpress)? I mean first relying on Google's help in getting the word around to increase the popularity of the site, not to mention having some of the work done for you so the responsibilities of being a webmaster are not so overwhelming initially. Of course, monetizing it to see if it flies, which is the point. If it does work out, then either keeping it there - or moving the site to one's own domain, independent of Blogger, to start doing/achieving more than you could on Blogger? Just curious what people think of this approach.

How long have you been gay?
well i think there is a place for free blogs but the content theft is always going to be an issue (being a photographer for 5 years teaches you that) but yeah, its always good to test something out for nothing and see if it's popular and then if it goes well move it to its own dedicated space
