Howdy All!

I've been in here eavesdropping for several weeks now and figured I should finally introduce myself. I am an out-of-work computer geek. I figured that other than looking for work there are better things to do than play Warcraft all day. So I registered a couple domain names and have been working on creating websites so that I don't get too out of practice.

One of those sites is a gay TPG. I am a newbie to the business side of the adult arena. (I've been a long time consumer though :thumbsup: ). So I came to the forum to see what I could learn about the business. While I didn't create it to get rich, having it pay for itself would be cool. Seems the biggest key for a TPG/MPG site is traffic and needing lots of it since only a few visitors will buy a membership to a sponsor's site. Traffic/Link trades seem to be difficult for a small site like mine (average 30 hits per day). Perhaps I'm just looking to the wrong places to trade links.

Anywho... I'll keep watching (and maybe comment here and there) and am willing to listen to what advice/suggestions ya'll have (Even if it's "Get the fuck outta here amateur," I'll at least listen to it

Good to have you poke your head up out the bush! There are a lot of places to submit your tgp (link lists) or to setup trades with other tgp'ers. What tgp script and what trade script did you setup?

@Bec: I'm actually using a homebrewed setup. Being the computer geek I am I wrote up my own scripts and such to deal with importing information from sponsors into a database and then retrieving that information for displaying on the website. When I started the project I noticed there were ready made scripts to do that work for me, but the programming is what I find fun (and it was).

.... and you're out of work?!?!? Not for long around here, the demand for good programmers is intense ...
