What Motivates You Working In The Adult Industry?

A simple enough question but after thinking about this for a little while i really cant think of anything that motivates me working in adult than the money.. Its like an aphrodisiac LOL

So what about you folks, what motivates you to keep working in the adult industry, money, hot men (or women), freedom to work where you want, or something else?

As i have started not so long ago the only thing that motivates me is the money by now. It happened somehow that it's the only industry i have had enough success to start thinking of leaving my fulltime job a day

Money, hot naked men and the freedom of working for myself. That's it. There are so many more negatives to working in this industry.

The thought of being homeless usually is enough to get me out of bed in the morning .... so yea, the money and that I can work from home. :morning:

We actually had this discussion Tuesday...

The things that really motivate us is that we are always coming out with new ways to better offer our products, services, and both combined.
Here we strive to meet the online consumer bases needs and wants. We are always putting our minds together to do this.

It is honestly fun and a blast to brainstorm on what we can offer the consumer next that is better than what we have done in the past.

The fact that we publish content (online publishing), come up with crazy creative ideas, and continuously better ourselves at what we do - that is a treat in it's own.

We've only ever had a couple bad launches. But in the business world there are risks associated with every decision. You pick yourself up, say that didn't work, and you go on.

3 years ago, we only had 8 DVDs out, now we have roughly over 300 and growing. We only had one site then, now we have over 300. We are constantly building. That is just the pleasure of motivation in it's own.

I'm waiting to hear about: pride, ego, committing fraud, not paying for content, larceny, breaking contracts, trying to break competitors by destroying their content, stop pay on checks, trash talking in forums, false bravado, fake attorneys, not paying talent - Ah, The Thrill of Victory!

A bit of the sense of doing something that causes more good than harm to the planet as a whole.

Our site is so much more than a basic adult website. For some of our members, we are their only contact with the "gay" world and for still others, we are their link to sanity. You see we offer more than just jerk off models and porn videos. At our site, you will get to know every facet of the boy's lives during their six months here (including the years of their lives leading up to CBL).
For me, the motivation comes from letters that we receive from members and guests to the site that thank us for giving them hope that there IS gay life out there somewhere. Those of us that are privileged enough to live our lives openly have a tendency to forget that not everyone has the ability to be openly gay and happy about it.
When I read letters that thank us for being a part of what saved a person from killing themselves, then that's all the motivation I will ever need to keep plugging along!
