I just had a crazy thought and wondered what you folks thought about the idea, what if, a company who was producing their own content, actually put some kind of 'subliminal' messages interlaced in to the movie content they were distributing, do you think having a frame or two with a message like 'stay a member' flash during a movie would actually have any effect on member retention?

As i said, a totally crazy thought but just thought i would throw it out there and see what you folks thought, would something like this work do you think?
