I mean seriously, there is absolutely no reason at all to have a site taken offline during a processor change or a server move, the owner of this site must be losing traffic/sales due to this.

Seems very odd. We move customers all the time with ZERO downtime. Apparently someone involved is incompetent. The only thing I can think of that may have happened is they colo somewhere, and are physically moving their gear to a new location in another state, and just have their main domain on a shared host to announce their move for the time being.

I did the same thing a few years back when we first went online and I had No clue, as opposed to now, where I have a little clue...

The new, or current host should know how to move data to a new server without downtime. If they don't.. then these guys should run!
