Do You Think Surfers Always Choose The Cheapest Join Option These Days?

With the economy still sliding down the shitter at the moment globally, do you think that is making surfers pay a lot more attention to membership subscription prices than they used to before we hit these hard economic times?

It seems like more and more people are complaining about revenue per click being down and im wondering if this is because a lot of surfers are actually comparison shopping for their porn these days instead of relying solely on impulse to buy a site membership.

Do you think that it is possible surfers are starting to compare what they are actually going to be getting for their membership cost instead of acting purely on impulse?

Yes, as a surfer I wouldn't sign up for a full month for $39.99 if I can see everyting for $9.99 trial within in three days or so. I would just grab what I like and come back for the cheap offer in 6 months or so to see what's new since my last visit.

There's so much places to visit and so much free porn that it really doesn't make much sense to spend extra money if you can have it all for a cheap price. I think the times of loyal surfers who stick with a website for months and years are over.

I don't own a paysite, so site owners might have figures to prove me wrong and there is really a big amount of surfers who switch from trial to recurring, but I hardly doubt so. Personally I would never offer trial.

As for those offers where you can either pay $29.99 per months or $79.99 for three months, I think that most people don't like (or can't) spend the bigger amount, even if it's more expensive to pay for short term. Also the higher amount is some psychological barrier. I think for many surfers/shoppers buying things is connected with a good feeling, especially when it comes to sex. So you don't want to spoil it by spending extra money.
