I was curious to know what you folks thought about online checks for payment options to join membership based sites, do you still think its a bad idea to accept checks due to cancellations for porn site memberships?

I am in the UK (don't know if it makes a difference)
I did online cheques for a while - oh what a bleeding disaster - I think about 50% of them went wrong .... and then I had to pay the billing company the charges of course ... so in my opinion ... Yes a bad idea!
Online checks are EVIL

there was a thread on gfy about this last week basically everyone said checks were bad because they get returned as unpaid but the surfer still gets access to the site
