Program Owners Who Treat Webmasters / Affiliates Like Surfers

Seriously, if someone has an affiliate program, wouldnt you think they would understand the difference between a webmaster and a surfer?

Im always getting emails from program owners with marketing text aimed at porn consumers and not affiliate webmasters, do you think some of these program managers or owners actually realize there is a difference?

I remember a thread on GWW a month or two back also where someone said we had to imagine they were a 'sexy guy' when asking us to contact them, isnt this type of thing 'basic' knowledge that most should have before launching an affiliate program or am i totally missing something?
