65 years ago, brave servicemen from countries around the world were ready to begin the invasion of Europe and take it back from our mutual enemies.

Men from all walks of life prepared themselves for an operation that would lead to the end of the war and good men on both side paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Please take a few moments sometime today to actually think about and try to imagine what it must have been like for these brave servicemen waiting for the launch of this campaign.

Those of you who may not know what D-Day is about, please take some time to Google it, rent some movies or read a book on the subject, it really was an important day in world history.

Many of the vetrans involved in this epic portion of our past history are no longer with us, do not let their battle for freedom go un-remembered, many of us have members of our family tree who were involved with the storming of Normandy, either past or present, these family members along with active servicemen around the world deserve our thanks and respect, please take a few minutes today to think about the often forgotten individuals who have and who currently are fighting to protect your, my, and our collective freedom on this day no matter where you live.

Regards,

Lee
