How Often Do You Run OS Updates?

I was curious to know how often you folks checked with your OS manufacturer for updates, right now im checking once a week for Windoze updates but am very selective about what ill actually allow to be downloaded, installed and updated.

How often are you folks updating your computers, or at least checking for updates?

i have all my win PCs set to auto-download the updates and I almost always install the updates as soon as I see it waiting for me to do so. Its important to get these updates installed asap to make sure your computer is not unnecessarily at risk, if people actually did this things like the conficker panic would have never happened, similarly most botnets would not work.

Think I setup mine to go look around everyday around 3 am for updates. It's certainly convenient and with a few other programs to help keep the internet playing nicely I haven't had a serious infiltration/virus of late (knock on wood!)

Yah, mine checks nightly around 4am or so.

windoows does it when ever like 2 or 3 am, the only update I will not let it do is the video card

With Mac, they appear in Software Update as available, and I run them.
