friday night I ate some food that had to be laced with msg. Ended up with a bad Migraine for 15 hours. I tried advil migraine with little help. does anyone know any tricks they use when they get them?

What a long strange trip it's been!
My brother used to get awful migraines from drinking too much caffeine. The doctor told him to try cutting it out of his diet and he never had another one. To this day he stops after one soda.

I used to have a strong allergy to MSG. Not much that I know of that you can do for an MSG-induced headache except Tylenol and so forth which, if I remember, didn't work very well.
My mom used to get them so bad that she had to go to the hospital and be knocked out. I’m luck I just have to watch what I eat when I go out.
MSG sucks big time!
