i just realized something and i think i made a mistake

i have been building a few mobile sites the last week but i am using them on my regular domain name which is a .com do you think i should be putting them on a .mobi domain name instead because they are specially designed for mobile websites i wonder if this will matter or not because i am getting listed okay but will the search engines blacklist me for not putting them on a mobi domain name?

i think you'll be fine with your .coms. there are tons of .com mobile sites on google.

A lot of mobile site names are being bought up using a dot com, I'm sure you'll be fine with using one.

As already mentioned, i wouldnt worry about it.

There are a lot of mobile sites out there that use .com for their domain and it doesnt seem to have much of a negative effect on them so long as the sites hosted on the domain name are mobile optimized.

Google is actually sending me a lot of mobile traffic right now to several sites that we're going to be tweaking over the next few weeks to get maximum impact for the mobile traffic.
