How Long Have You Worked In The Adult Industry?

I was wondering, we seem to have a lot of newer faces on GWW over the past couple of months so i was wondering, how long have you worked in the industry?

Im actually guessing that we have a lot more newer adult webmasters posting/reading because of some of the thread discussions as of late.

Was just curious is i was right about this or not so, how long have you been working in the adult business?

I'm the 15+ because that's how long I've been shooting (1986)... 1993 for selling my own produced content. 1988-1992 ran a little bookstore that rented Jeff Stryker era titles.

I started my first horrific site as an affiliate back in early 2004 - so just over 5 years now. I've done a fair amount of work for and with webmasters and site owners as well as built up my own little network since then. It's a great industry and you really learn so much about people and the way things work...or don't work.

It's the best career I could ever hope for and with luck I'll be at if for many more years to come.

i think this would be around the end of 2000 for me, when I was working on the techie side of str8 porn sites

Only 2 years as a webmaster so still very new compared to most and only slightly experienced compared to others.

I've been around the adult industry for a while as a clerk at a porn store then a few years doing freelance photography for some porn sites back in the early to mid 90s.

Starting a site and joining the forums has been a fantastic thing for me. To learn more, have fun, and make a little money on the side. The people I've met (you guys) have been very nice. A lot nicer than the porn starlets I used to shuttle back and forth from the airport.
