You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Gay Affiliate Program Designs

I was wondering what you folks thought about this question, when it comes to specifically 'gay' affiliate programs, StudPay, GayTronix, CondomCash, GreenDollars, CashKaboom, GayGravy, etc etc... Programs that ONLY have gay sites in their offerings, do you feel that the affiliate program design itself should portray this in the design aspect by using things like rainbows, pink triangles, and other 'gay' related symbology?

I know a few years back we had a thread on GWW where people were saying that actually didnt like to see stuff like rainbows and pink triangles on an affiliate site but im wondering if that opinion has changed recently?

For example, a few years back Rainbow Revenue launched and they have rainbows all over the design, likewise, with GayTronix recent launch, they also have rainbows on the site.

Do you actually care whether a gay specific program has this type of stuff on it or, so long as the sites sell, is that all you are concerned about?

I know for me the affiliate site design doesnt really play that large of a role when it comes to whether i join a program or not, was just curious what the rest of you folks thought about this.

    Regards,

    Lee

the main thing I check is if the paysites themselves will convert, and the owners rep. There are some companies I absolutely refuse to ever promote due to their shitty past and shady tactics. I also tend to favour programs that use cascaded billing (and not tied to one biller) and offer epass payouts.

Knowing it's gay owned and operated is always nice to know, but I don't think it's necessary to use the rainbow or other gay identifiers in a sponsor site's design.

I'd rather see an affiliate page that works and doesn't use terms like gays and fag too much. A few pages I've visited recently the sign up form was broken, didn't impress me too much another had pictures of naked girls all over on their gay pages.

    If it is okay...
a few affiliate sites I really like include tier1 and hunkmoney. The stuff is easy to find and most if not all of the links work. I dream of having something so nice someday.

I agree, and I find symbolic icons like that well just corny and hoaky...so then I think is the site itself that way? Will the members like it? Has it offended anyone etc...$0.02

GayGravy/StudPay/GayPay and GayTronix are very big fans of pre-checked crossales, this is why they should add "Your surfer will never buy porn online again" to their designs and get rid of these triangles and rainbows. That would be nice

I don’t know if a site being gay owned is a plus, if it sells they’ll sign up anyway, wont they? With my site http://www.legalpimp.com people have said they don’t like the female in the header enough to make me rethink the design but I’ll never go the rainbow route, people should get the idea that’s it’s gay. But if being gay owned does make a difference, sign up guys!!!
