Email Code Scrambler

Here's a new tool out from Rene who created Robot Control. It scrambles up your email addresses into a code that web bots can't spider. This can help you reduce a LOT of spam! And from what I was reading, anyone that has a webmaster resource type site could put this up as an online tool ... nice traffic draw I'd think.

where was this a few years ago when I started putting my emails on everything....unfortunately I think I am in every major spammers list now anyway!

Would you believe almost 2500 links?? I've hit my limit so many times it ain't funny ... then I have to delete something to save a new one!

From what I read of it, it seams to work really well. I sent it to my house so I can read it over more. I have a teen who is on line and gets email.

that's happened to me before as well...

what I do is snag all the bookmarks from a folder
slap em on an html page in alpha order
stick it up online (or offline)
and then bookmark that ONE url for that category
to pop open that page and scroll down to see what I want...

and you can make an index html page
of your personal bookmark pages (by category)

makes it easy to snag the source of those pages and perserve
them to disk if your hd crashes or site goes down where you
had those pages hosted (if they were online)

sounds all well and good...
doesn't it??
and I have done it in the past (to a degree)
but it's allot of work and I haven't updated mine in forever...

I've done an offline page before with url's to places
I go daily - including gateways to my various eMail accounts,
blogs, boards, news sources etc - - - places I hit daily
and have them in categories and then in order of importance
and within the categories again in the order of importance
to me to hit - if I am pressed for time

and a separate section on that page for the quick 7
