How Much Do You Pay For Hosting Each Month?

I was just chatting with one of my friends who has a couple of non-adult sites and i actually couldnt beleive how much this guy was paying for hosting, he has about 5 different hosting plans right ranging in cost from between $5 and $250 a month, granted the plans are not as good as what we have available to us in adult, in terms of php usage, traffic/bandwidth inclusion, or even support but still, i really was amazed at how much some of his hosting cost him given the amount of traffic he pushes every month.

That being said, i was curious to see what a rough price range most of us on GWW were paying each month for our hosting, totally anonymous poll too

So, how much do you pay a month for your current hosting?

    Regards,

    Lee

    $12.50 / month

I'm paying $12.50 per month ($150 a year) for 200 Gig of drivespace and unlimited, yes unlimited bandwidth through Superb Internet and running 5 domains on the plan, though I could run more.

I'm also looking for people to signup for my affiliate program that pays 50% of all sign-ups and 50% of ALL re-bills at TwinkTime.com

Your "unlimited, yes, unlimited" bandwidth will magically go away when you start pushing serious traffic through it, or else they'll pull the "can't use more than x percent of CPU resources" trick.

Shared hosting can be great if you don't have huge volume, but bandwidth costs $ and there's no way a host can deliver 20 or 30 or more Mbits/sec of bandwidth to a customer for $12/month, the pipe alone costs substantially more than that.

Reliable hosting is the bread and butter of the industry and Superb is, from everything I've heard, pretty decent, and probably fine for low traffic applications. But I would never put a high bandwidth site on a shared server.

I have recently purchased a VPS for $45 a month and I am very happy with it so far. I was on an unmetered shared hosting account before that and because one site of mine had used to much bandwithd they had asked me to upgrade. Dont fall for the unlimeted unmetered bandwidth advertising as it truely is not unmetered and unlimited and I was with 2 different reputable companies.

I took advantage of Nat Net's offer to meet any and all managed or unmanaged hosting price a couple years ago, so I have a server for $65 per month with them, and I love their customer service!
