payment choices from affiliate programs

why do some affiliate program not offer check option for payout?

i saw one earlier that only had wire epassporte or fethard but not check

Perhaps it was a program not in the US and harder for them to do checks.

And i always have the opposite question. Why programs don't offer epassporte? It's too costly to cash out checks at my place
