So how do I track my site sales? Other than using a link-code is there any way for me to find out if i am making a sale?? If i do make a sale how do i know I am being credited for it!?

you can use something like niftystats which is a program that will tell you when you make sales

also most programs have the option of emailing you when you get new sales.

Like Luke said - most programs have an option.

For CCBill Clients - we can send email notifications on sales, declines, expiration, cancellations, sales by affiliates, etc - and they can go to multiple email addresses, and the emails are customizable with various transaction information. Easy to set-up under 'Custom Emails'.

Affiliates have a similar option for email notifications.

Also for an affiliate sale - the sponsor has the option to notify you of sales referred by you.
Affiliates can choose to receive emails on sales in the Affiliate Admin>Tools>Edit Profiles - then choose whether to receive signup e-mails.
