Anyone Else Having Htaccess Issues In IE?

It seems like for the last two weeks, im not able to save a username or password in a htaccess pop up box, i know the user/pass combo i am using is correct because it is letting me login but, rather than having the information saved, every time i hit a htaccess pop up box im having to enter my user/pass every time.

Does anyone know what would cause this to happen and have any of you folks experienced the same over the past two weeks?

Im wondering if it is something to do with one of the windows updates i recently installed perhaps?

    Regards,

    Lee

I use roboform2go and haven't had any problems. But when I set it up I had to disable the i.e. option of saving userids/passwords. Maybe you changed that option accidentally?

Does the site use Wordpress? If so, turn off canonical redirect if it's your site. Canonical redirect will often cause that, as well as messing up your cookies.
We have a little plugin to disable it if needed. Also look for anything else redirecting
you, say from blah.com to www.blah.com, as well as images hard linked to one or
the other. If you save your password when logging in to www.blah.com, but one of the
images is called by fully qualified URL from blah.com, the password box will still
pop up. There are several variations on the same theme - redirects, iframes, etc.,
which could be hardcoded to a fully qualified URL so IE gets confused - it doesn't
know that the log in info for www.blah.com should also be used fro blah.com.
Or of course if it's your site you can just put Strongbox on it and not have that
    box pop up at all.

    this is from ie help

    To change AutoComplete settings

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
    Click the Content tab.
    Under AutoComplete, click Settings.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.
    Click OK twice
