are there good and bad colors for sites?

i wanted to know if you think there are good and bad colors to use on gay sites like does one color work better than a different one on twink sites or maybe on latin guy sites for example?

While there are no hard and fast rules regarding niche site colors, you will find certain colors "representing" a particular niche.

Twink tends to be nice medium and sky blues and white. Yellow for accent maybe.(not pastels)

Bears will have tans/browns/deep chocolate and orange/golds

Lot of the BDSM sites go with Black with Red text, but you do have to be careful with that combo, as colorblind men can't see red text on black pages.

Latin can go to the burgundy/deep maroon backgrounds and using reds, blacks, whites, and golds for text and accent tiles.
