Arles is great for making thumbs and html galleries, but the best image re-size program i've used is File Renamer Basic: http://download.cnet.com/File-Rename...html?tag=mncol

here is the direct link to their website: http://www.sherrodcomputers.com/prod...ilerenamer.cfm

not sure if the most current version is free or not, so look for older versions that may be free. i use version 5.05 and i think it was free

    Imagemagick

You can create batch files and completely automate the process. You can do it on your hosting account as well as most hosting companies have the software installed.

I like Thumbnailer from Smaller Animals, its a program ive been using for about 8 years now and i really do love it.

Every once in a while ill need to use a different program but for the most part i use Thumbnailer for all my image resizing needs.

    Regards,

    Lee
