Why dont they keep the old version for affiliates to promote?

It would seem to me that no matter how much a paysite is redesigned, one tour will always sell better than another for some of their affiliates, you'd figure it would make sense to keep the older and newer version online so that affiliates can actually choose which tour to send their traffic to.

Your thoughts, when a paysite owner redesigns their site, would you rather they kept the old version of the tour online for affiliates to be able to send traffic to in case the 'new' version didnt sell as well for you?

Good topic.

To be honest, we never thought of keeping the old tour when we overhauled our sites awhile back. I only thought of it in terms of giving it all a fresh coat of paint and updating the overall look of it.

I tend to cringe a bit when I look back on my older graphics, layouts and designs - not because they were necessarily bad...but just old and outdated. With that in mind, I'd prefer everyone see the 'new and improved' rather than the 'old and stale'.

Just my .02 cents.
