How do you block a specific computer from your site?

I know how to use htaccess to block ip addresses, but how do you block a specific computer from your site, regardless of IP?

I'm guessing you can't do it through htaccess. You'll probably need to find out the computers MAC address and do it via a firewall.

The above is a totally UNeducated guess

Yeah but most people aren't going to go into their registry & change their MAC address.

    True.

But then again, if you are wanting to block a specific machine, thats not what i would consider something 'most people' would do either so id say under such circumstances we're dealing with someone that knows how to get around this type of thing.

    Regards,
