    District 9 - Any Good?

    One of our friends wants us to go and see Disctrict 9 with him this weekend but im not sure, the trailers i have seen for it looks good but im wondering if it is actually worth going to see or if we should see something else, any of you folks seen the movie yet?

    I loved it. I thought it was a fantastic and refreshing change from hollywood and all the 'idiocracy' movies.

    Setting it in south africa was brilliant.

    Now, I like science fiction, so I'm predisposed to like such things, but still, as a movie, it's a much better than average construction.

    Saw it opening night at midnight with the other crazies.

    Liked it, but it "jumped the shark" on the premise.
    No way that thing would be in South Africa, without the US Military all over it.

    But, past that, great movie. I'm hoping for sequels.
