Content Rating Webpages

So here's one for all you site owners out there.

How many of you use ICRA and SurfSafe rating systems when you design your websites?

I generally add the code when I'm publishing but I thought it would be interesting to see how many do and how many don't and their reasons

I use it merely as one more added way to cover my ass. While its ludicrous to think any warning will deter a kid from trying, least it helps if you get attacked for letting minors in. IT shows you made a reasonable attempt to deny entry to minors from adult content.

Whether its enough these days is hard to say, but better than nothing.

Ian i agree with you on that.

We use it on a few of our sites mainly the ones showing hardcore pentration inside them or on the tours where penetration isnt blurred our or cropped.

As you said the main reaosn we use it is to prove that we have given reasonable thought to not allowing minors inside out sites however, as we know we dont live in an ideal world

The only way to ensure that no minors are entering your sites is to not have any adult sites period.

Actually yep i wrote an article somewhere that listed all of the rating sites available.

Try doing a search on the forum for icra, netnanny etc
