Google and affiliates

I'm going to be contacting some people about joining some of our affiliate programs over the next week. Do you suppose going to google and searching for them, then contacting them about our program is more effective than just posting on message boards? Any information helps!

I never respond to solicitations that come from people doing a whois on me.

I prefer learning about a program from the boards.

Using the contact forms on, say, a traffic site is a bit different - not quite as suspicion-arousing as a whois contact.

Yes, use the search engines to find the sites that are relevant to what you are going to be contacting affiliates for, if you are looking for PE affiliates, check Google for sites that promote PE products and see if you can find a contact link to get in touch with the site owner
