do you register names at godaddy only or somewhere else?

when you register a new name are you only using the one domain name register like i am just using godaddy right now but was not sure if there is a better place to use with same prices or better services and stuff are you just using one place to register your names or do you use a few different places depending on the names?

go daddy for register , ocassionally you can nab a special/discount code/etc. , I don't leave anything to be hosted with them though.

I like the GD admin
BUT have so many names that we bought a pro reseller account and buy from myself now

And then I use 10dollar.ca to buy .ca names

I prefer Moniker, I remember hearing some horror stories in the past about GoDaddy. If you bulk buy or transfer domains they will give you a really good discount price too, you just need to email their support department. Their admin area is the best I've seen as well, especially if you have a lot of domains!

I dont remember exactly what it was, but i beleive a year or two back there was quite a major issue about Moniker and domain registrations, its probably on GFY somewhere but it could be worth checking out.

I know a few years before that DirectNic actually cancelled some dudes domains without warning and that drove a lot of people to Moniker, we actually went to GoDaddy because of the sheer volume of names we register the price just works for us and we love our acct rep there too
