Hi!
I use Paint Shop Pro and it is pretty good from Corel - they give you a 30 day trial as well to try it out.

Photoshop also bought out a version called Photoshop Elements which eas aimed at the `comsumer' market and doesn't include all the high end stuff that PS does (I thought I read somewhere they were no longer realising new editions of Elements, but I could be wrong).

GIMP, of course. Open source. google it. It's free, and powerful.
Now, I admit I use photoshop, but thats because I bought full versions, and since I have it, and know it, it seems natural to use it.
But I often wish I had devoted all that learning curve to gimp. Hell, I should make myself use gimp for my next few graphics.

I use Photoshop 7 and refuse to upgrade but that online editor is so cool thought Id share the link its pretty close to being photoshop and if your just doing a few banners it saves buying the full version
:bunny:
photoshop elements will probably do everything you need. get an older version and you can pay under $50.
basschick, does Photoshop Elements do batch resizing of photos? Does it do batch renaming of files?
