This isn't correct it's only going to stay in as a paid ad for as long as you have a paid account. Once you stop paying any paid ad drops.

Also if you were referrign to paid inclusion that can actually compete against your site that your trying to rank organically

The Yahoo directory isn't worth the money and I used to work there

Your much better off getting links from other niche sites and one way only NOT reciprocal.

Also if you haven't use Google/Yahoo/Bing Webmaster tools they let you tag your site with a meta tag verifying your ownership which makes the engines hit your site if they haven't and provides useful information for you as to what they're indexing you for.

Besides Rich, it actually costs $600 to submit an adult site, you will discover.

No, yahoo directory isn't worth it anymore.

I bought a bunch into it back in the day, at $600 a pop. They all made their money back and much more long ago, but nowadays never make a sale. No traffic there anymore.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Agreed, i had 2 sites submitted that i paid for several years ago and whilst the traffic used to be worth it, it soon stopped, almost as if someone turned the 'sales' switch off overnight.

Instead, try getting a site or two listed in Dmoz.org and wait for Yahoo to update their directory that way, although to be fair, Dmoz takes forever and a day to get a site accepted these days which is a real shame because after Google they used to have some pretty good traffic levels if you hit the right category, with the right editor.

    Regards,

    Lee
