I was curious to know those of you that are heavily in to the blogging game, how long are you keeping archives visible for on your main blog page, are you showing all of the posts you have made from the inception of your blog or are you limiting the amount of archival posts that are being shown to those from the last 30, 60, 90 days, etc unless the reader is actually clicking on the 'archives' link?

On most of my blogs i even don't have this "Archives" link, just 5 of similar posts links and 5 recent posts links. I don't know maybe i am wrong.

I show the 10 most recent posts on my main blog pages.
I am usually showing 8-10 posts on the main page, and letting the archives accumulate as they naturally do on my wordpress blogs.
Those I build in Blogs Organizer I usually limit to 300 posts, so it doesn't archive more than that and drops off older posts on a regular basis.
