Quicktime vs. Media Player

I had a similar post earlier in the year and got some good input. Am now about to make a final decision and thought I would post once more to illicit additional input.

I am planning to deliver all my videos on the site in Flash (h.264) format within an embedded player. I have been told that in addition to this, it is important to offer members the ability to download content.

Do I offer them a media player WMV file for download or do I offer a Quicktime MOV file? From a space and time perspective, I would rather not offer both. I am also thinking of providing a MP4 version for iPod/iPhone users.

Finally, for the down-loadable versions, what file size and player size? Since I want to encourage users to consume the content within the site, I am thinking about providing a lower quality/screen size for the download versions.

Thanks Luke......that's one good data point to go by! :-) Any thoughts on the file size/quality of the downloads?
