Banner sizes

I have to come up with some banner sizes for the up and coming "evil earnings" and was wondering what some of the sizes that you guys use were?

Also, should it be animated or static?

I think many webmasters are using banner rotators which usually display 468x60 banners so I would defenately also add that size.

i am starting using bigger and bigger banners the last few months and i think that might be why i have seen more traffic to my sponsor site and sales so i think bigger banners is bestest
