    tgp site and domain names

i have been checking a lot of tgp stuff yesterday and today and i wanted to know if you think a funny name matters or not like for example gaybeef and cocksickle do you think that sort of tgp name works better than gayporntgp type names because they are funny or does it not matter much?

Good question, since I tend to come up with names like that in my mind, wondering the same. I even own a few domains as such.

Reading webmaster dicussions/debates about domains in general webmaster boards (not adult), seems to be that an equal amount of commentators place importance on SEO and/or branded type of domains - ones that are memorable. I don't know how that translates when it comes to adult domains/biz.

Cocksickle is definitely a memorable and clever name. It's witty and funny, and most importantly: makes someone curious to check it out, and remember it. As far as being good in search engines, I don't know.

IMHO, there is absolutely no use getting into TGPs at this time, go with a tube site instead.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Rich, just an idea. Sometimes when an unusual domain pops into my head that sounds potentially pretty good and I personally just like it, but I'm not sure for one reason or another if it is "right" (like is it too silly sounding), I buy it if I have the money. After all, registering a domain for one year is pretty cheap, and then you know you have it in case it becomes useful. If not, let it expire or buy it for another year if it's still on the back burner.
