should i use this on my site......... over 1 million pics

i am seeing a lof of website designs that are using stuff like this from my search for paysite design ideas over 1 million picture and 1000s of porn movies and other things like this do you think i should say this sort of stuff on my site or will it be better saying exactly how many pictures and movies that will be in the site when they join it please?

Depends largely on your business ethics.

Do you want to be honest...or mislead your visitors with false claims?

If you've actually got over 1 million pics inside your site, then yes, tell the surfers that. If you don't and they sign up and find out you don't, then you've only lied to them for their money. What you are seeing is killing this industry because no one trusts us anymore. Please don't do that.

Chances are high no webmaster has taken "1 million pics" himself, nor licensed that much content. I'd wager much of it is stolen photos.

Not only that, it comes across (in my mind) as a cheap, used-car salesman pitch.

To be fair, we currently have a collection of around 2.5million images spread across our paysites, we've been buying content for over 10 yrs so have a massive catalogue available to us

There's exceptions, of course. But I'd still say the majority of sites that use that phrase don't actually have that amount.

How many sites do you have that spread around on (just curious).
