A Sign Of The Times Maybe?

So i just sent an update out to Condom Cash affiliates letting them know we have raised payouts this month on all of our sites and over 100 of them bounced back as undeliverable because the domains no longer exist :eek:

Have that many affiliates really left the industry over the past 3 months because of the economy or do you think they have just dropped their domain names and registered newer ones instead?

I usually get about 2 or 3 bounce emails whenever i send an affiliate update out but over 100 really shocked me.

I suspect they have left the industry, I can't see anyone dropping their domain that they used to register with affiliate sites unless they were leaving.

Im actually still getting bounces so right now im more inclined to believe its a problem with CCBills affiliate email system.

I got mine through fine too, how odd,

it does seem a bit extreme for that amount to bounce back.

Mostly crappy hyphenated .nets, and all straight niches. Junk, really. Intended to support a search engine strategy that no longer works.

The days when hypenated worked well are pretty much over.

Some of them are pretty old, and thats their only real value.

With so many names dropped in the past few years, I have bought some much better replacements for some of them.

It isn't even worth the trouble to me to try to sell them - let the aggregators have them, I figure.
