That they actually have gay paysites available for affiliates to promote :eek:

The last week or two Ryan and i have been hitting up several sponsor programs (getting him trained in ad sales) about their gay site offerings and how a lot of gay affiliates simply do not know about the sites and/or programs.

It really amazes me how many of the marketing folks at these programs do not even know that they have gay paysites in their site portfolio LOL

One dude actually turned to me and said 'Um you have the wrong program we dont have any gay sites' despite the fact that on their 'site list' page they have over 20 listed LOL

Seriously, why even build gay paysites if they arent going to do anything with them?

keep that info for yourself and push your own sites... straight programs just don't get it - thats what I learned... I will never ever team up with a straight one again!

Utoh -- sounds like those site redo's didn't go well ....

The site redesigns were a success!
We lowered the conversion ratio (read: we made the sites convert better)
We raised revenue.
We aquired new aspiring straight(!!!) webmasters which we taught the gay-traits during several meetings, some person to person.
We wrote a small booklet about the gay market understandable for straights.
We went to Barcelona to do real business.
We acquired very promising business partners.
We were in cooperation talks with one of the two largest tube sites (straight).

The contract unfortunately was terminated by one single party after 6 months with short notice.

most of the times the large ones where the left hand does not know what the right one does.

Usually customer support has nothing to do with size but rather with dedication. I recon that a support guy can not name every single site the program has but at least support should know the themes and niches it works.

Hell, I don't know every site I have, but you're right -- I at least know if I have the niche!
