Then they seem to wonder why nothing is selling for them, well guess what, if you arent actively marketing your sponsors or own paysites or even your own content, then it isnt going to sell.

A good marketing person can sell pretty much anything, to anyone $0.02

If we aren't in the ENTERTAINMENT business, then we have nothing to SELL.

"If you build a better mouse trap they will be a path to you door" so the old adage goes. The truth, and Lee is correct, is that they won't beat a path to your door unless you tell them where the mousetrap is. It is that, that we call SELLING.

Some of us still are selling, but I rather suspect that due to the economy, many have cut way back on their advertising dollars or simply don't have the money to advertise.

Any marketing expert will tell you; however, that when sales start to go down, that is the time to increase your marketing budget.

good affiliates and webmasters DO still market and these are the ones that are still doing well in this market!!!

i saw a thread on gfy today and somebody had asked a question like this as well saying that a lot of program owners expect there content to do a lot of the selling just because it is exclusive to there paysites but that webmasters do not sell the content enough for it to work well on its own.

as well i do not think we are in entertaining business just because we sell porno it does not make us entertainers like a store selling newspapers does make that store a news agency like cnn or a store selling tvs does not make them a tv builder it makes them a sales outlet.
