Traffic Dealers with sources that have underage content

Hi y'all,

I am a little torn right now and need y'alls combined opinion on this case:

I bought traffic last month from a traffic dealer, not much and for few bucks... then a few days later I checked the referring sites and found that out of the top 35 referring sites a very substantial part had very young looking, immature looking or clearly underage persons depicted in the context of pornographical material.
I had friends confirm my findings prior contacting the traffic dealer, knowing that I asked a very big favour of my friends and partners in biz.
That traffic dealer clearly has nothing to do with the sites except buying their traffic except monitoring their sellers.

I contacted that traffic dealing company on Oct 26th 2009 in this forum in an open post. Other than that i should "kick the support" no feedback, no PM, no ICQ.

I also posted on jaginforum.de on Oct 31th 2009 stating that I found that some of their traffic have illegal content on their sites.

Why 5 days in between? I tried to contact their support via the published ICQ and Skype accounts but could not reach anybody - even before I posted on Oct 26th.

I finally got somebody on ICQ whom I explained the situation, showed the sites and got a positive response that, yes, its true what I have seen and that actions are being taken after I sent support a screenshot with markings. My first impression is that support was rather uneducated and not aware of the legal situation this brings all customers of that company in.

I thought that the issue was settled on Nov 1st when I posted my gratitudes in the two forums.

Yesterday support approached me asking where I seen that questionable content (questionable? OBVIOUS!) and that the links I supplied had nothing illegal on them. Duh... 10 days later....

Anyways.... I was stunned when support accused me today of blaming his clients for doing illegal stuff, he showed me three links which I refused to open since all the links I opened so far I've seen content which is HIGHLY illegal almost everywhere in the world.

To get over with that company I very politely and calmly asked for my funds being transferred over to my paypal account... I had to ask since it is below the withdrawal amount of $US 50.00...
Support tried to explain that a paypal transaction takes a few days and can not be carried out today.

I stayed firm and insisted on the transfer of funds.

Support told me to contact another person which I did not want to do since support could do that for me after I showed them what kind of traffic their customers pay for.

Later today I was contacted by the CEO of that very company, excusing for his support guy and mentioning that he is not quite working for the company as of now and that he might be somewhat uneducated at the moment.

I did accept his excuse but insisted on the transfer of funds.

CEO then offered a discount (GOLD member status) - which I have.
CEO then offered to add funds to my account - which I thankfully refused.

I insisted on the transfer of funds and now on termination of business relations.

So after being called stubborn by the alleged CEO of a Traffic Dealer I set a timeframe of 6 hour for the transfer of $US 20.58 to my paypal account.
I thought a Professional Traffic Dealing company could manage to transfer funds to a paypal account from their paypal account in the same amount of time it is able to receive funds.

Far fetched!

I now openly ask ProTraffic.com to either transfer the amount of $US 20.58 either to my paypal account or donate it to ASACP. You have received more than once the request along with my paypal account and my account name on ProTraffic.com

Either way the funds, along with a premium, will end up at ASACP since I do not want any money in my hands from a company totally obnoxious to well meant advise, a company which somewhat employes uneducated people in a very delicate area of the internet business, a company that tells its customers that somebody who's reporting sites in good will causing harm, a company who's CEO calls one stubborn, a company totally incompetent of transferring the vast amount of $US 20.58 within a regular working day.

you had issues with ProTraffic.com , too?

What bothers me most is how they handle customers acting in very good will but then insulting exactly those customers and telling them they hurt their sellers business.

And that it takes them like 10 days to allegedly suspend those accounts of the sites I reported.

Oh well

Gave them the benefit of the doubt looks like they're not interested in resolving, or even addressing my issue, which I'll be posting about soon

I just donated $50 to ASACP

Their (ProTraffic.com) part, in my eyes, dirty $US 20.58 which were now retransferred to me, money I almost spent at ProTraffic for sources that had or still have illegal content on them, and an additional $US 30,-- for a very good cause:

The fight against child pornography.

If webmasters who report CP are not being taken serious in time and actions being taken against CP with very short notice by just disabling all accounts that seller has then maybe ASACP has much better use for the money.

My business relatioinship with ProTraffic.com is now eternally terminated and I will not recommend them to my clients anymore...

Instead I will suggest my clients, fellow partners and webmaster friends other sources of traffic like TrafficHolder.com, Chokertraffic.com, ero-advertising.com and other reliable traffic sources.
