a logo contest...

im thinking of doing a small contest to get a logo and maybe even entire layout for a new site im doing... its a link site of sorts, and i know pretty much what i want. the logo is the main thing. my creativity is just not flowing & everything i come up with is a bit cliche.

what would be a good prize or $$ for this type thing?

Dale logos can go from anywhere between $50 and $500 a pop so somewhere within that range would be best i think.

You could probably get a few designers to kick out a selection of them if you offered $100-$200 though

Of course ultimately its your contest so its up to you :thumbsup:

I have heard many good designers who refuse to do logo contests since they are a waste of time for them, working on a logo for a chance to get paid. So you end up with half-assed designers competing!

You are much better off going to a good reputable design company and working with them to get what you want.
