How To Block Access To Websites From Specific Computers?

Is there a way to stop access to certain websites on specific computers when surfing the net?

For example, lets say i dont want anyone here to access domain.com is there a setting somewhere in Windows that i can use so that whenever domain.com is visited on the web, the page wont load at all?

Im not talking about surfers, rather myself, Gary and Ryan not being able to hit certain websites online.

Any help or advice would be appreciated

    Regards,

    Lee

You can do it in the settings of some routers. (if u use one)

I don't know if you can do it in the computer settings or not.

    Found it for IE:
In IE go to Tools, Internet Options
    Then Click on Security
Then Click on Restricted Sites (the red circle with line thru it)
    Then Click on Sites
Then type the site that you want to block in the box
    Then Click Add

    Hope that works for you.

there are lots of ways to do this, the two easiest ones are prolly:
    - add a rule to your firewall (assuming your main internet router has a firewall in place)
    - add a null route to the computer's hosts file (use a text editor to open the file c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts and add this line:
    127.0.0.1 domain.com www.domain.com
subbing for the right domain names, save the file and make sure it saves as hosts and not hosts.txt)

    hope that helps!
