I've been hearing this from a lot of people this month.

I wonder if people are actually saving for Christmas this year? Holidays, presents, flights. It's been a rough year for many people, so it is possible that frugality is actually happening.

I don't have a membersite, but my rev this month is looking to be in the top 4 (months) of the past 54 months since I've been doing VOD - and DVDs and Books.

I shot some under-exposed models in Denver in Sept which are starting to earn this month.

That and staying true to the niches that customers like.

Over the years, I recall people (mostly who are now on that ugly UK forum board), pushing people into becoming paysite and click thru affiliate program webmasters, for fee based consulting services.

Others became webmasters over the lure of unlimited riches in porn. Some pay/paid huge amounts for photo and video content, others for customized websites and hosting.

I just hope those with low sales now didn't pay a lot to others to get into the biz, and wound up paying a lot in consulting fees, and content licenses, and programming and hosting, etc etc., only to realize that you can't be a lemonade stand next to a suburban sprawl Mall.

Actually not so bad month, but as i can see more and more webmasters on different boards complain of low sales.

Never complain about or mention low sales. It's a pointless exercise, and only results in exactly the type of yada yada blah blah and promotions you see in this thread.

By the same token, never mention good sales either.

This November has been our best month in over 2 years. Take our new site out of the equation and it's been about average for us.

New sales have actually been down slightly for us this month, rebills have been a little better than average but revenue has increased overall due to us playing with upsells and stuff inside our members area.
