    How Soon To Get Naked?

When shooting content, when specifically do you feel the 'ideal' time for the models to get totally naked would be?

For example, lets say you are working a 20 minute scene with two models, how much of that scene should show the models still wearing clothing, at what point should the clothing at least start coming off and, at what stage should the models be 100% totally naked?

Do you feel that leaving a models clothing on can actually increase the effectiveness of a shoot if it is timed correctly so that they remove they clothing 'naturally' as oppose to literally stripping everything off at the first chance possible?

    Your thoughts please?

    Regards,

    Lee

Yes, definitely. Foreplay "normally" takes place as articles of clothing are gradually coming off, so that looks normal. And a lot of customers like at least a little bit of clothing to stay on during sex, especially the sports gear enthusiasts. We made a sports-gear themed video a few years ago where no one got completely naked. Customers loved it. There's no reason to show everyone completely naked all the time. That's my opinion.

We always have the guys loose their shoes before shooting. No sense fumbling around with shoe laces. That is unless your audience in into that sort of thing

Other than that, yes some clothes are almost always good to start with. How much/how long? I guess that really depends on what the shoot consists of.

Whenever you finally do get them naked, keep them that way! I mean in the editing process. Yeah, it's porn, it's not Citizen Kane, but it's still jarring when there are continuity problems so clothing or footwear magically reappears during a scene only to magically disappear again some seconds later.

VOD watchers are different from DVD viewers, they want the cherry shot ASAP, then the cool down retrospective of clothed, foreplay or stripping scenes with the model(s).

Kind of the opposite of real life.

Say what? A model not telling the whole truth? I don't believe it!

    A little wait

My videos always start with an interview cut with the model slowly undressing. I like the idea of getting to know the guy before seeing him naked. It builds excitement and lets the viewer get to know the guy before seeing everything he's got!

I am agreed with some clothing articles can remain on indefinetly ( interpreted: jockstraps do for dicks what push-up bra's do for tits - longboardjim ) I actually try to keep the boots on also. ( interpreted: sexy is ... what you can almost see. )
