Any Reasonably Decent Email Newsletter Scripts You Can Reccomend?

We're looking for another script to run an email newsletter, the one we've been using for the last 10+ years has basically gone to shit in terms of technical support.

Does anyone know of any basic newsletter scripts that will allow us to add email addresses as well as have people subscribe on their own and also if possible, have multiple lists running from the same database?

For example, lets say we have the following databases...

Twinks
Bears
Asian

Someone can subscribe to the twink list but also, if they wanted, they'd be able to subscribe to the bear or asian list also.

We use PHPList. It's free, has a lot of features, and they are constantly updating and improving it. It supports multiple lists, as well as the ability to send to a single list, a group, or many. And it supports self-subscribe and self-unsubscribe.
